This was an audio test of Magnum DeltaForce and Magnum OmegaForce S-45 HP Radios.
Radios used in this test -
Magnum DeltaForce (1998) - Stock radio 35 watts PEP. AMC adjusted to maximum, microphone gain at maximum.
Magnum OmegaForce S-45 HP (2010) - Stock radio 80 watts PEP. Top Gun Modulator ON.
cbradiomagazine, can you tell me how the Galaxy DX98VHP is on SSB? I hear it drifts real bad.. I talk 99% on SSB. I know the AM is GREAT on this 98VHP but what do you do about the SSB? Should I look at the RCI-2970N2 for SSB? ok thanks

I started with a hand me down Cobra29 and fell in love w/the hobby. I'm now running a Magnum S9 and making DX contacts more often(mother nature?). And learning more as I go. I'm looking at the S45 HP as a "all in one" radio(mobile/base). Great web site. Keep 'em comin' and hope to hear you some day! Mobile Disorder - MD169, and I just got down!

I have the older version from 2001 also.....the new Mosfet radio sounds far stronger......sometimes some things (other than wine!!) can get better with age!!....73's Dave in The UK.
