  • if you guys could look at the other interviews jian had done with qtv, its obvious that hes an excellent interviewer - i cite his handling of billy bob and the introductions of his guests

on this interview hes just taking it easy

  • he cuts her off a lot.

    and ps, she's right.

    that is how poutine started.

  • Cheese curds on a poutine should never be melted!

  • The debate of the origin of poutine rages on! Where was poutine invented? Who invented it?

  • quebec is 100 years in front of Canada of making poutine

  • @jesjes21 Yeah, I love Jian. He is a bit of a jerk in this one though.

  • @jesjes21 You thought that the way he interviewed Billy Bob Thornton (by antagonizing him for nearly the entirety of the interview) somehow responds to the criticisms mentioned in other posts, that he comes off as a douche? The guy is trying to be edgy and analytical, but he comes off as a douche because he doesn't really listen to his guests (Thornton's request that his career outside the band won't be talked about) or taking this woman at all seriously. He's a douche and it's bad journalism.

  • @rollerpodger I like Jian Ghomeshi though. I don't find him annoying at all.

  • great show & info but bloody hell is the host annoying

  • i had this dish in an irish bar that had fries, but with curried vegetables on top! it reminded me of poutine....and was awesome....however it lacked cheese and gravy.

  • This is blasphemous, there is no doubt that the poutine originates from les Bois-Francs. Le Roi Jucep was the first to commercialize it. End of story. As of the term poutine it could originate from the english term pouding or the poutine as in mess.
