@eydiot909 Yes, O'Donnell's non-selection by uber-turd John Benaud and his merry band of arseclown selectors cost us the 1992 World Cup at home. Nobody to pinch hit down the order. Jones' farcical test axing in December 1992 for Martyn, was only the start of an Anti-Victorian bias which still exists to this day. Back then the Australian team was stacked with under-performing NSW and Qld players, defended by coach and selectors, while the best Shield players rotted away in wait.

Thought I'd watch this just to remind myself what a losing England team looks like - against Australia, that is ;)
-
Is the England Innings on here too?
-
I remember this game. Tuffnell's missfield. O'Donnell's hitting (should have played 1992 World Cup) and England losing. Liked the England uniform and all.

Mark Waugh played at expense of Dean Jones n Damien Martyn.Mark was better than both of them in fact better than all batsmen of his team in his era.
-
dean jones was and always will be the creator of good cricket, but not as good as harold larwood

Oh my goodness gracious me you would not believe that it was possible, classic Tony Grieg
-
agreed,... gladstone small!! what happened to him!

He would've had time to walk up to teh stumps and still get the run out.

i overheard geoffrey boycott talking in england in 1991, he said "i've got five cats, my cats could field better than Phillip Tufnell"

never forgot this classic, i remember tuffnell need a 4 off the last ball (he swung and missed) after some tremendous hitting from gus fraser (40 odd not out) got england back in the match. also remember david gower getting a real bum lbw decision in this match
