Long Distance Underwater Swimming Record

Jens Hilbert sets the record for longest underwater distance swimming record in 1994. He swam for 19.36 hours with a total of 4 hours and 24 minutes of rest. He set the record at a distance of 55 Km about 34 miles using Force Fin Pros.

i dont think alternating kick is very efficient.. no creature in the ocean swims that way. almost everything has single tail fin and a side to side motion or up n down in mammals. surely to mimic that which lives in the ocean is better? i think this is so.
