I've deleted some comments I found offensive.
The fact is that this induction does work, and I demonstrate it with different people at each and every one of my training courses. (search for Hypnotic Solutions Training London)
It helps if the subject is suggestible, has a good imagination and will follow suggestions uncritically.
For therapy I prefer the Elman Induction - see my video "Julie and the Onion" on Youtube
