Ricardo asked on Facebook how I use cue points in Traktor Pro 2. In this video I answer that question and show an example of how I set up cue points on my tracks.

  • You said Cue point #2 is a 'load marker' that tells traktor where to load the song... Does it actually do that, or do you have to jump to Cue #2 manually after it loads? [because later in the video you say that you have redundancy by keeping Cue #1 and #2 on the first beat so you can jump to the beginning without worrying about hitting the wrong cue point]

  • @RADRaze2KX What I said is correct. When the track loads it will load wherever the load marker is. The reason I have 2 cue points on the first beat is that for the mixing I do, it is important to be able to go back to the first beat quickly if needed. That is why I have them mapped to buttons that are close together. Even if I hit the wrong button, I get to the same place. Make sense?
