The scene which was hidden from the American viewers for a decade. (It was added back in for some of the versions released after 2004.) Besson's original movie idea was more violent, and the relation between Léon and Mathilda showed much less ambiguities in the first version of the script. However, Natalie Portman's parents did not let their daughter to play that part, so the director had to rewrite the script. You can read the version 1 script here: http://the-professional.uw.hu/Version...

Why are you people thumbing down comments regarding the sex scene? In the original script there WAS a sex scene, but it was removed because Portman, the girl who potrays Natalie, at first turned down the offer of acting in the movie because she wasn't willing to do it. Keep in mind in the original script the girl was supposed to be 21 not 12 so that could have been a contributing factor to it's removal when the age was switched.
In the original script (which you can find on the internet) they have sex in this scene, there are also alot more scenes of Mathilda hitting on Leon (alot more violence too, she kills a few people). Glad they kept it out of the final version though.
Luc Besson originally wanted a 21-year-old as Mathilda. Since Natalie was 12, he changed the film into a coming of age story. Most adolescent girls have these kinds of feelings.
Anyway, it's one of my favorite movies. I like the 90s and I like the European feel.
This scene was not in the original release of the film. Test audiences were seen to giggle a bit and act uncomfortable, so it was removed. It was added in the extended DVD release later on.
