White Christmas? We get a white Thanksgiving! While you are traveling for the holidays be thankful most of you aren't driving through this! Winter comes early in Northern Vermont. Driving through Island Pond as it snows.

  • I always stop. Its difficult to see traffic coming across the bridge. Plus there was a snow plow coming. Teddy is only on 32hrs a week believe it or not.

  • How is emplyoment up there? I a moving, Any place that gets snow on thanksgiving, when all i had in southern ct was rain is where I want to live!!!

  • depends on how far you want to drive and what you do for work. Island Pond, not so much good paying work unless you own a business, are a contractor, or a teacher. Small town type professions. Lyndonville, Newport, St J and Lancaster NH are all within 40 minutes max.
