4 vs 4 please??

@dscoblen Thank you. I was trying to do the double time counters as a single action. Thus are the woes of trying to teach oneself.

@Aserox not true, the Rapier is being used against the Turks by the Knights of Malta during the Siege of Malta against their Scimitar =) The Spaniards used the Rapier too in war during the 1500-1600

@acerb45666555 A rapier wouldn't have been used by a soldier, it would be impractical in a battle. Nobles and officers used them, either for show as a dress sword, self defense or duels. It was quite fashionable for the wealthy men to have them.

Italian rapiers. i saw one at a house once. a real one! very old and dark. it was gorgeous! i held a blade held by a noble or soldier 500 years ago! and since i dig archaelogy, it was a real trip!
Quick question: are these supposed to be single or double time counters? I'm having trouble with rhythm.

@Irmasterlol The first couple of actions are all simple attacks (performed in one tempo) and aren't really counters. The next couple of actions are double time counters. Then the lesson moves to single time counters, and finally back to using double time actions to defeat the single time counters (part 2)
