The director's such an ass! Why does he have to be so condescending? "I have too much culture for this..." Who would SAY that in real life? If I were her I'd be seriously offended. I just lost a whole lost of respect for him, even if I did love Farewell My Concubine...

i like the film the promise, but i hate the part when she have sex with the old man. i hope that is not real. and even if it is not, it is still disgusting. oh yeah ceci is beautful, but in this movie, she is not. too much make up and her hair style makes her looks ugly. nic is hot though, as usual.
