@IamMeUareYou LOL i did not by the 8 gig, it was my friends. and btw the 8gig, 32 and 64 gig 3rd gen models have the exact same things on the back of the ipod but obsly the only difference is each own ipod says either 8, 32, or 64 gig.

look to the right.... "A1288" That means 2nd gen. You have 2 of the same devices.

another way to tell is on the back if the model n. says A1288 it is a 2g if it says A1318 its is a 3g
