This poll was created to determine if the competitive pokemon fans of YouTube want Garchomp to be Uber or to be OU. If you've played pokemon on wi-fi and/or shoddy at any time, you can vote. I'll keep a tally at the bottom of this video to keep track of Garchomp's votes for Uber versus Garchomp's votes for OU. This video's results will determine if I will continue to let Garchomp to be used against me or not (you can do the same if you'd like of course). If you want to share this video, you have my permission.
As for me, I can't make up my mind; I'm undecided. There are too many advantages and disadvantages to each side. (Just like choosing clothes to buy, lol)
I would recommend that you simply say yes or no. If you chose to debate, I am not interfering.
Tally:
Yes (Garchomp is Uber): 46
No (Garchomp is OU): 58

EDIT (February 10, 2009) :I have stopped tallying this poll for a while. Most users seem to vote that it is OU. Maybe one day though, when I am really bored, I'll tally the votes again. So, since a vote doesn't hurt, go ahead and vote anyways. Ratings have been disabled due to the existence of idiots.
EDIT 2: Since people seem confused and keep asking the same questions over and over, here are some definitions to base your conclusion off of:
OU - Overused. It is the pokemon tier that most people will play you at. It includes popular pokemon, like Vaporeon, Blissey, Tyranitar, and Togekiss.
Uber - Another pokemon tier. Most people do not play at this tier, especially on wifi, since the majority of pokemon banned into the Uber tier are too hard to obtain w/o cheating and have god-like power. The Uber tier is where the most powerful pokemon are placed, like Kyogre, Groundon, Mewtwo, and Rayquaza.
Counter - A pokemon that can switch into a target pokemon's attacks, not risk being seriously injured no matter what the target's pokemon's moveset is, and can pose an immediate threat to the target. For example, Gliscor can switch into Heracross with little fear and can either OHKO with Aerial Ace or can stall it to death w/ the constant use of Roost. Garchomp supposedly has no counters.
@RobotsRock86 There is no way that a trained Dragonite can be killed by an ice beam (he can be VERY bulky if you trained his Defenses) the reason why most people hate dragons (in this case Garchomp) is because they are very cheap, their attack is ridiculous and only weak to ice and by the time you get the "ice pokemon" out you will most likely get hit by stealth rock (focus sash gone) and ice shards won't be enough to kill them (since most of them are scarfed and will attack first)

And even if Weavile and Mamoswine WERE able to switch in to Garchomp, that would mean that every team would need to use one of two specific Pokemon with one specific item and one specific move for the sole purpose of taking out a single Pokemon that your opponent might not even have. That is overcentralizing the metagame, and that is the very definition of Uber.

He has absolutely ZERO solid counters in OU. The only 2 Pokemon that can outspeed him and OHKO him are Weavile and Mamoswine, who must have Choice Band and must use Ice Shard, and neither of them can switch in without being almost OHKO'd themselves (Weavile is always OHKO'd, and chomp is usually paired with Sand Stream and Stealth Rock, so that Focus Sash won't be saving him). And you'd better pray that he's locked into Outrage, or else he'll just switch.

He is definitely Uber, not just for his attacking power, but for his stat distribution and unpredictability. He outspeeds all other dragons in OU, smashes through all but the best walls with Outrage, Earthquakes most steels, has Fire Blast for Skarmory, Bronzong, and Forretress, usually has Sand Stream support to make all of his opponent's moves as (un)reliable as Stone Edge, can abuse this with Substitute and Brightpowder, and meanwhile can instantly double his attack with Swords Dance.

Brick break=dead Tyranitar
Ice Beam: dead Dragonite and Salamence
All Pokemon have weaknesses (except Spiritomb and Sableye). GET OVER IT.

ice beam = dead garchomp so i dont get why hes uber

The issue with Garchomp is he's over glorified, without Yache Berry or any other berry and a single EV in any of the Denfeses, he is near OHKOed or 2HKOed by Ice or Dragon Type moves. He's possibly the strongest Dragon Type Physical wise along with a wide movepool and mediocre defense stats, but is crippled by his only weaknesses like most Pokemon. Garchomp belongs in OU at least.

@LolitaShiba
Hey, when somebody on pokemon online challenges you with a team that consists of Kyogre, Darkrai, and others, you feel NO guilt.
Go ahead, pull this trick on the next person who tries a fast one.

Hey, wth? That's not how you determine tiers. Parasect can absorb kyogre's water spout and live an ice beam, proceed to spore, and then seed bomb for the 2HKO. Is parasect uber? No.
Tyranitar is too slow to actually be considered too good in this metagame, he will die from the all common fighting moves, as well as bullet punches from scizor and friends. He is just to slow. And even if you make him faster with a scarf, that's just gonna make him less reliable being choiced.
