Yes they are, but after living a few years and experiencing other types of pain- like gall bladder attacks (which men can get too) I kind of don't care about periods anymore. It's not a battle worth fighting. So what if they call us bitches? We complain about them too, and to be fair- we ARE often quite unbearable.

I don't think periods are all that bad, and I have PCOS! which means that my periods are all over the place, and sometimes quite painful, othertimes non-existant.
