@chessecurl07 another thing i have issues with lukumi ..your only 4 yrs old in the religion and dont understand why your a iyaolorisa? At four yrs old there isnt much you can teach a iyawo..you dont know every cerimony.. so why are you touching heads? . the lukumis are so hungry for a crown.. but forget its for life! thats why you see alot of there godchildren not staying in there house for very long. Im lukumi and have oya done..I see it all the time

@hairygreek39: the Yourba people that were taken to Brazil during the slave time had more secret the the ones that were taken to cuba. so yes Candomble is is more rich in tradition then lukumi only cause with time things were lost due to the slaves being forced into Catholicism therefore being forced to hide there practice ... just thought id elaborate on this interesting topic. Lucumi is so far behind with the religion... The itawos, iyaolorisa babalorisa do not know the proper dance to the orisa any the secrets of the orisa. Look at candomble in brazil. Thy are soooo much advanced then lucumi. They have matained the orisa Ori, the also make oba, obaluaye, nana,logunede,osain,iroko ect... on the head. wich lucumi doesnt have a clue
