Winter 2006: Hurricane force storm generates 35' to 40' swell. Waves collide with continent at Shore Acres State Park, Charleston, OR.

nice video... i went to pacific city and went out on the cape and i kid you not... the waves crashed up against the rocks and went up about 75 feet. never seen anything like that.. gonna try to go back and video tape sometime

Shore Acres is in Coos Bay. About 2-3 hours south of yachats

thats not a storm that looks like normal suummer day on the oregon coast i grew up there storms are rainy windy and cold that looks like fun

I think i was there. Was that near yawhats? You know hurricane forc winds arn't that uncommon along the oregon shoreline.
