This is the theme of Julius Caesar and Augustus Caesar in Civilization IV. It's a great song titled "Augustus Rises", and was originally the theme of the Romans in Civilization II.

I have included all three versions of this music from Civilization IV in this video.

Enjoy!

  • The glory of Rome. They set the roots for the modern languages of europe, and were influential in english too. They formed the boundaries of the modern countries of europe, and spread the love of literature and philosophy and even christianity. For better or worse, the world would be very different were it not for that city state, that became a great power.

  • @morbidfusion Cassius: UMAD JULIUS?

  • @eeektavius "You're joking?!"

  • @morbidfusion Lol at Brutus part. XD

  • I like how it has the opening riff from the Civ I Roman theme.

  • and they say rome wasn't built in one day...

  • When Augustus reigned alone upon earth, the many kingdoms of men came to an end. And when Thou wast made man of the pure Virgin, the many gods of idolatry were destroyed. The cities of the world passed under one single rule;and the nations came to believe in one sovereign Godhead. The peoples were enrolled by the decree of Caesar; and we, the faithful, were enrolled in the name of the Godhead, when Thou, our God, wast made man.

Great is Thy mercy: Glory to Thee.

  • I love this music, It is so relaxing.

  • EVERYBODY LOVES PRAETORIANS AND LULIUS CAESAR THEME *----*
