@lufthansaprofipilot Actually sir, you are wrong. I have owned several of these R129's. They did in fact make a very rare sl60 AMG. It had a 6.0 v8, and was a limited run. they also made a v12 sl63AMG, and a v12 sl73 AMG. they also made a very rare sl320 5spd manual. Please do research before trying to blast someone who knows their cars...thanks!

@gavquinn my father has a 1996 s 600 v12 hard top. what about that is that one rare. it has 515 hp and 476 torque. well its a little modded but it was stock 420hp.

@lufthansaprofipilot There was an SL60 AMG look it up!!!. One of the first AMG built cars too, actually the second after the C36 AMG in 1993. The SL60 features a bored out 500SL engine. The later SL73 was a bored out SL600 to 7.2 L. Look it up online for once and dont act like you know everything just because uve owned a R129.

@zelibober yah they did make a 6.0L AMG of this vehicle, that was BEFORE mercedes owned AMG.

Thats a AMG, and there was a 6.0L V8 AMG M119, there was more SL60's than SL73

thats not an ///AMG.. I've owned a R129 my self and there was never a 6 litre V8 built... the first ///AMG's were built later and had V12.. in fact the SL73 ///AMG had the largest V12 in a Mercedes-Benz vehicle ever!.. So guys, you're right. THUMBS UP!!

500SL can not be 6.0 :) 500 mean 5.0 and 600 mean 6.0 so you got mistake

It is a AMG 500 SL 6.0 one Year later, in 1993 the name is AMG SL60
