possibly the saddest part of the movie I would call the saddest i have ever seen...i feel for hachiko's howl for his master... (I DO NOT OWN ANY RIGHTS TO THIS FILM, I MERELY POSTED THIS FOR PEOPLE 2 TRY TO PURCHASE THE ORIGINAL VERSION ON DVD AND APPRECIATE THIS MASTERPIECE.)

you guys know ahat's sadder than this? in real life I saw videos here in youtube about AKITA's being maltreated and abandoned...if I were living in the US now I would adopt one of them poor akita's in the dogpound.

@Czechforce the music at the end credits really did not fit, but you see this film was made in the 80's and japanese music back then sounded similarly to that...

I'm a grown man and love animals period and know what it is like to lose a pet I have a chow chow full blodded and this one makes my 3rd one, but anyway this movie makes me cry when I seen him waiting for 9 years on his master, I really felt for Hachiko.
