Quem escuta reggae e o guarda no coração sente a paz, quem interioriza as mensagens do reggae vive em busca da paz e quem faz o reggae penetrar nos corações dos seres vivos se transforma em um soldado de jah em busca da paz universal.

I saw some awful videos of people playing fretless bass,
but your playing is far better and sounds Awesome, I gave you 5-stars!
Do you think it's possible to use a fretless for Reggae/Motown/Jamerson style stuff?
You've really convinced me I should start playing a fretless now.
What do you think the DISadvantages are for using a fretless bass?

Thanks very much! Yes, I think a fretless is perfect for those styles as the bass has such a rounded tone in reggae/motown ... Disadvantages? Playing in a dark room where you can't see the neck of the bass and you've had a couple beer ... that's one! haha Pop and slap doesn't haven't the classic pop and slap tone with a fretless. If you're into that ... Other than that, really, once you're proficient on a fretless, anything goes IMO. Actually easier to imitate some songs without frets too IMO.
