I felt like he was really talking to me when singing this. Like they peered into my life and knew how to perfectly express my feelings and my situation with just one look. They are eerily wonderful.

"when you see me, you'll know" john closes with such bittersweet tones with this song. The worry and the fear of AED breathes such an exhausted sigh. it's the kind of delivery i can come back to again and again and feel the shadow or the artifice and come away still etching, just an endless lattice of emotional connections, every time. it's on par with song for an old friend or the second half of coroner's gambit. it's just beautiful.
