I did the battery drain reset procedure (bringing the leads together for 1 hr with no battery) but I'm not sure of any otehr

wow that's got a lot of features I'm not used to having on a car like heated washer fluid and a seperate heater pump. man great work! it's always good to have a friend who knows what he's doing help you!

Its very lucky it broke where it did!

the BMW 7 series has always been packed with strange features, some I'll never use like heated door locks for icy climates.

yeah!, we get some nasty frosty mornings here, not as bad as your snowy winters though. reote start and heater contol would be great
