Where did you get the wheels that are supporting your vase? Also, are you using this tool for end grain hollowing or for other projects as well? Thanks.

@pawbycat Hey, I'm interested in what you are talking about. what is an end-mill? Is it a router bit, or for metal lathes, or what? I have the Berger hollowing tool and even following the grinding an use instructions I'm not having good success. Please respond. Thanks

I'd have to disagree with you there, Sofia. Drill bits are quite strong; they're made of HSS, and at least as thick in the thinnest part of the flutes as the 3/16" square tool bits which are commonly used in hollowing tools. It has less chance of snapping than a square bit especially since he only has a couple inches sticking out. Try it. It works!

You do realize that you are putting alot of people in danger by promoting this 'cause that drill bit isn't ment to be used like that 'cause there is a huge chance that, that bit will snap off & come right back @ them.

thanks for the tip. Sometimes the best tool for the job is something we already have but are too blind to notice....Thanks for having your eyes open.

I'm going to try this, thanks!
A high speed steel two-fluted endmill may hold up better than a drill bit.. It has greater hardness and the side reliefs are already raked back for side cutting.
