Tegan The Vegan - Short Animation Trailer

Tegan is 12, in love with the coolest boy in class and just found out where meat comes from. Tegan faces intolerance and peer pressure as she struggles to she find the strength to follow her heart.

This 12 minute stop-motion animation was made using Dragon Stop Motion Software, After Effects and Final Cut Pro and shot on a Canon EOS Digital Stills Camera.

Planned like clock work - If the cow isn't carrying she's called "empty" and not profitable. They keep the calves coming like golden eggs... Cows aren't going to take over the world I assure you... @beaelliott DILLIGAF! You need meat OK VEGANS ARE STOOPID! they all think that cows are 'mistreated' weellll I dont see them travelling to every slaughter house in the whole world. And the only excuse for vegans is that they think theyre doing something good for the environment, well theyre not!

@MunChiiesXox No one need step one foot inside a slaughterhouse to understand the magnitude of wrongs within. No one wants to die... And no matter how "kindly" a killing is made - A life is still stolen. As in the case of "meat" - It is done so without any "necessity" at all!

@MrShrapnal420 There are millions of people who are not affiliated with peta... And hundreds of groups that are concerned with nonhumans that are not "peta" either. The facts are simple: We are a culture who professes that we should only harm animals when it is "necessary". Clearly, we can thrive on a plant based diet... Therefore, the killing of cows, pigs, chickens, etc. is without justification... Other than habit or tastebuds. Really, those aren't very good reasons to take a life - Yes?

@MunChiiesXox Actually you're quite misinformed - Most nutritionalists will encourage a "less is better" approach to all flesh - Plant based diets are very healthy and satisfying as well. I think you'll find too that generally speaking - Those who care about the welfare of nonhumans will also be kind to their fellow man as well. Being concerned with animals doesn't necessarily require apathy to man.
