Wild Dogs chase down and catch a female Kudu by a dam. Location Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa (Jacis Lodges)Note this is rather graphic, but the Kudu goes into a state of shock- so shouldnt feel too much. This way of killing(where wild dogs exhaust their prey by sustaining a speed of between 55-60km p/h for 3-5km, and once caught the animal is to weak to fight back) is quicker for the animal to die- in comparison to suffocation (Lions etc..) which can take up to 6 minutes for death to occur.
