@johnnyp2234 No, it's not the solar wind sending ripples through the flag. It's way too weak to do that. The Moon has an atmosphere so tenuous as to be nearly vacuum, with a total mass of less than 10 metric tons. The surface pressure of this small mass is around 3 × 10−15 atm (0.3 nPa). It's just wrinkles in the fabric of the flag. The flag doesn't move at all.
@kakakikakaki Because there is this tiny thing called Solar wind... Also the moon has an atmosphere, just nowhere near as dense as the earths. The moon has a core just not as hot and as frequently active as the earths. Bottom line is solar wind from the SUN well of been what sent ripples through the flag.
Jesus H Christ he must have had David Bailey on board to get such a beautifully crafted, well framed, perfect photograph, don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining.
@policeman872 The camera was mounted on the outside of the lunar module and was "set up" by pulling a d-ring and lanyard which deployed the camera. It was then switched on by Buzz from inside the LM
well when the video and audio of him stepping on the moon was not vieo of him first on the moon he had to walk out set up the camera and then do the video.
