I tried something new with this video.

I have seen so many guitar hero and rock band videos, that they have all become very jaded to me. So I wanted to do something people haven't seen yet. The editing was inspired by AzuriteReaction
( http://www.youtube.com/user/azuritereaction ).

Basically what this is, is 4 different captures of me playing rock band, 1 for each instrument. I then synced them all up and put them together like it does in normal multiplayer for the "full band" effect. I apologize if the editing isn't fantastic, but this is my first time doing something like this. I hope you all enjoy. Any questions not answered in the Q&A, feel free to ask. I may take requests for this if it gets big enough. Just keep in mind that my drumming skills are limited on expert songs.

"Enter Sandman" by Metallica
*For some reason, it cut the score portion down to less than a second, so pause it if you dont believe me, but the basics are below.*
Guitar: gold stars, 97%
Bass: gold stars, FC
Drums: 5 stars, 96%
Vocals: 5 stars, 95%

Q&A-

Q: I see you miss some notes, but the sound doesn't drop out at all. Whats with that?
A: That is true, because I used the audio track from the bass part. Trying to sync 4 video clips is easy, but syncing 4 audio clips is really hard.

Q: Why can't I hear your drum fills?
A: Same reason.

Q: This is impossible, you cant play all these at once.
A: Read above.

Q: Who is that guy at the beginning?
A: Thats my custom guitarist.

Q: How come 3 players say "Teh Skedar120" at the start and one says "Eric"?
A: Short answer, I did all of this in quickplay except guitar, because thats the only one I have gotten that far on expert yet.

Q: How long did this take?
A: About an hour to play and capture, about 2 hours to edit and upload.

One other thing worth noting, instead of the stock pedal that comes with the kit, I use a metal pedal ( http://www.megapedal.com ), its heavier sturdier, and a lot easier to use. I highly recommend it.

As with all my videos, this is for entertainment purposes, I do not claim to be the best player in the world. Having said that, please keep any outrageously negative remarks (omg u suk/i can own u) to yourself, as they will be deleted.

Xbox and xbox live is for fun and entertainment. If you feel the need to bad mouth everyone who you think is worse than you, thats fine, but take it to people who give a damn. Your remarks will fall on deaf ears here.

  • You kinda failed on the fact that there is no proof of 2 things...

    1. You did not use a bot, you never showed yourself playing this so no proof of that

    2. You did not play them seperately and edit it together (drums would always be in middle so it would be the only way) also there is no performance meter or score recorder

  • 1. If I used a bot, everything would have been 100% and it clearly was not. And I don't think a vocal bot exists.

    2. The lack of score recorder/performance meter should tell you off the bat that there is something different about this than a normal rock band song. And if you look at the edges of the highways, you can see the blurring and overlap that I did. I also included my scores on the final frame of video.

Please pay closer attention and cease to be ignorant before making such claims.

  • This is impossible, you cant play all these at once.

  • So the annotations telling you to read the description, the explanation video linked over there, and the description itself wasn't clear? I don't know how I can explain it any better.

I feel like I should insult you, but it would just be redundant.

  • Is the video right at the start Nottingham Lace?

  • Yes

  • It's edited moron

  • Attention Morons, Fucktards and other Dumbshits: Skedar is NOT saying that he played all of these instruments simultaneously. (That means "at the same time".) He played them individually. (That means "one at a time".) And through the miracle of modern technology managed to splice each performance onto one video. Hell, You can see that it's obviously been edited together by looking at the background of the note scrollers. They don't match the video on the upper portion of the screen. Sheesh.

  • Good Editing! People you can easily tell bc look at the highways for the instruments

  • fago

fake and not possible like that

  • 1. Vocals bots do exist and even a bit can be forced to miss notes

    2. Still no proof you played all 4 instruments it could be 4 people

  • i loved playing enter sandman on rockband 1 i wish it would have transfered over to RB2

  • I pretending to be the average youtuber to read responces lol

  • YA!!!

  • @deadagain33 dude, he played the song 4 times on all the different instruments, then edited the recordings together. Notice how there's no Star meter or Progress bar? Stop being ignorant and read the Desc.
