Nicks POV

I woke up and it was already the next day. the clock said 6:56 the sun was just about to rise and the freakin rooster woke me up cuz my alarm went off when it hit 7. i stood up and grabbed some pants and put on a muscle shirt and instead of the boots ma had laid out for me i put on my converse and headed outside. the cityness still hasnt left me or i guess it would just feel awkward to be walking around in boots yeah ill go with that. i went outside and went to the stables looking for my horse when i heard the rooster. "stupid rooster" i walkd over to the coops and picked up a rock and threw it at the rooster when it strutted out. it jumped away from the rock scared and cocked really loud. then it just looked at me. "what you starin at rooster?" i hit the fence trying to scare it but it jumped toward me instead cocking. "ahh!" i turned around slipping and ran into the stables. i slowed to a stop when was in front of my horse. "remind me not to play with rooster..unless i have a b-b gun with me ok" she nayed shaking her head. i smiled. i opend her stall grabbing a brush as i went inside. i ran my hand slowly across her back watching her as she twitched and turned her head to look at me. "shh girl. its alright. just like old times." she nudged me as i started brushing her mane and tail and body. i had been there for awhile when i heard some one clear their throat. i stopped and saw my mom standing in the door way and guys walking back n forth outside the stall. "i knew id find you here" she smiled and walked over and stood behind me and kissed my head. "yeah i guess" she put her hand on the horses back. "well if you ever felt out of place you always came and joined Daymond here when you were little. oh Nick you dont know how much i missed you" she hugged me and i felt at home but it was foreign far out of my reach even though it was soo close. "i missed you too" she pulled back "mm well im goin to take your sisters to Crowley and maybe other places we goin shoppin. so you have fun now ya hear?" she started walkin out. "yeah ma bye" she smiled blew me a kiss an said "bye" before she dissappeared. i went back to brushing her and then heard the door creek open again. i looked and saw Joe standin there. "well looks like half my works done now i jis need to take the trash out" i turned my attention back to Daymond. "well go ahead im not stoppin you" i heard him chuckle "i was actually talkin bout you" like im in his way. yeah right. im not stoppin him from doin his freakin 'job'. "whatever" i kept brushin her until a hand stopped mine and i felt a chest behind me. "youre not doin it right" he guided my right hand as i brushed her. "yeah like that and while youre doin that.. "he lifted up my left hand and used it to brush her mane. "there ya go" i wanted to fall back in to him feel that heat directly on mine. feel those muscles but i couldnt. he was too much we were from different worlds and...i have a boyfriend. i turned my head back and looked at him "thanks" he almost smiled he was about to say something but someone called his name "uhh i got to go" his hands dropped from mine and i watched as he left out the stall. "uhhh! oh Daymond hes a jerk one day the next hes a sweet dude and i have principles!" she nayed at me. "yeah its soo hard huh all the temptation."
