Quick Video of my attempt at playing along to 'Skyrim Meets Metal' by the living legend that is Eric Calderone (ERock) :)

All ownership of the original video belongs to him.

Again, I must stress that this is just me messing around - I'm not a guitarist by trade and only play for fun, am self taught, and just spent the last 20 (ish) mins working these bits out by ear, so I am aware that it won't be 100% correct by any means.

For anyone that is interested, I am using a Marshall Valvestate 8080 and an SE2200a through a Soundcraft Spirit M12 desk into Logic Pro. My guitar is the Mikael Åkerfeldt signature series PRS SE.

  • please tabs :)

  • @MrTestQuest all done by ear, so I never had the music for it lol - head to 331ERock 's channel and feel free to ask him though as he arranged it :)

  • nice work man :), Keep it up

Did you really do this all by ear? sounds just likes Erock's

  • @Crusader634 yup, saw him upload it and was like "OMG have to learn this" - sat down, worked out the easiest parts (notice i can't play the sweep picking etc) and recorded it ^_^

  • @AmnzeroUK ahaha i wanna learn it but i suck at trying to play things by ear, and how did you play the part at 0:42 - 0:57 i was wondering if you could explain it, because it sounds sooo awesome.

  • @Crusader634 hey sorry for the late reply lol - and that bit is just hammering on and off on the string, so alternating between playing the fret note and then the open string :) (im not sure thats the best way of describing it but hope it makes sense)
