Freebo, our buddy for many years now, is a Golden Retriever lover from way back, having been inspired by his Golden Garbo to create the CD, DOG PEOPLE. He has continued to compose and this song is from his newest CD, BEFORE THE SEPARATION.

I recall this guy playing with Bonnie Raitt on SNL in about 1976. Me and a buddy recorded it to VHS because were musicians and had a gig. Anyway - the guy's a fine bass player - but he got totally lost in looking "way cool" and got totally lost...ah, musically speaking in one tune. He looked like he was gonna have a litter of kittens. We played it over and over. Funny thing, though, most people would never even catch the bass player getting' lost. It was a hoot.
