But I will say this, how much fun would it be to sit at that table sneaking sips from flasks, and arguing about art!? Nowadays, reality tv and texting has replaced the ability to read or look at art...... oh well.

Mrs. Parker makes a damn good point about the word 'artist'. Loved seeing the Ferber/Parker situation for it was documented that Mrs. Parker hated writers who took no artistic risks. Ferber was, at that time, a very main street and popular writer, though she did eventually branch out.
