  • I am interested to know what this drives or does? Is it for generating hydro or is this a water pump? Could not quite make out from the video. Nice blade design. Very interesting. Is this design more efficient?

  • Hi,

the only purpose at now is decorative.

I have added an old bike derrailleur to move one figure and the future idea is generate some electricity in order to light his eyes. You can see it in another uploaded video from me (Homemade windmill with hammering Bender).

    Thanks for your comment!

  • The location is perfect. He chose to place the wind turbine in a location that it can have an easy contact with the wind. Rooftop is a good place to position your wind turbine. It must be facing the direction of the wind.

  • sure it's for generate wind!..

  • Hey self made how do I get a manual from you? Thanks,,,thats a nice mill!

  • can u send me the manuals please?

  • Not with an expensive, store-bought turbine, but with a home-built one that cost hardly anything. It's actually very easy to build even for a complete beginner.

Feel free to contact me for help on building your own wind turbine.

  • A windmill could be hooked directly to some small appliances requiring a motor to drive them, like a water pump in a well that fills a cistern.
