Fallout New Vegas: Dead Money DLC How To Get All Gold Out of Vault Easily (spoilers)

Tips: Put difficulty on Very Easy to kill Elijah quickly. Use a "Patriot's Cookbook" magazine to boost your Explosives if necessary. I also recommend bringing plenty of gas bombs which you can find and create on your travels.

It may take several times to kill Elijah while glitching through the force field. Remember to save often and improvise if necessary.

Destroying the turret power generator AFTER you set up the explosives will cause your explosives to detonate. You need at least 50 melee skill to destroy it. Alternately, you can destroy all the turrets immediately after opening the vault door for the same effect. Using the terminal (100 science or password found in hologram room before video) is not recommended since you can only shut it off that way when Elijah is coming out of the force field.

The high level speech options are not needed to do this. Just choose the last option and "cooperate" with him to goad him outside.

There are 37 gold bars in total with other decent loot scattered throughout the room.

how to get out with all the gold bars without having to glitch or kill elijah:

You need a stealth boy:

Ok, you got all the gold bars and haven't talked to elijah via the monitor, nor have you screwed with the turrets or anything(there is no need)

After talking to elijah, immediately leave the vault and activate the stealth boy... walk along the

catwalk that is the shortest path to the alternate exit path (farthest away) that is also shielded...

you can stand up walking for a certain........

Don't work it doesn't talk to the guy just says I die and I get a ending screen.

first time i played dead money straight away i figured out how to get all the gold out took 2 attempts and then i saw caps glitch so i dont care about gold but then again i dont care FNV i got skyrim :D and still waiting for E3 next year to hopefuly hear the announcment of fallout 4 :D

i remember i first tried many ways to get out with it then i had to drop it and run i soooo did not want to leave the gold but it was the gold or my life and i like how its all about greed and says leaving there is the hardest part and the hole story and the world and the madre created for 1 girl and all that got me so attached to it i never been this emotionaly attached to fallout since the first time i played fallout 3. thank you bethesda
