The Light Project, 09/04/08-10/17/08: Scaffolding

Here's more scaffolding going up in the burned church on Spring Ave, signaling the start of the Light Project installation!

This project is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Dan Flavin: Constructed Light and organized in collaboration with the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Saint Louis Art Museum and White Flag Projects.

This initiative is motivated by a commitment to the arts and an interest in social and urban revitalization, beginning with our own Grand Center neighborhood. Each outdoor light installation employs and/or references projected, emanating or natural light.

On view through October 17th, every night from dusk until dawn. Spencer Finch's ice cream is available Tues. - Sun. from 12:30 - 3:30pm.
