A friend of mine, a big girl and LAK, struggled for two years with a conventional type leg with knee and it just made her life hard. So I converted it into a wooden pegleg and within 5 minutes she was moving along very well. And with no knee and no foot----no tripping. OK---it don't look like a real leg. But who cares. You get your life back and live a real life. Big hand for your daughter who went all the way for you. You are terrific.
