  • i didn't say the supra smoked it off the line. if the supra hooked he had em by like 5 lengths. both are crazy fast cars still and either would kill most cars on the road

  • the GNX sounds like a jet engine. i love it

  • @gmpushrodsftw - i agree. Nor will they beat the 6.75 record set by

    Freeman's GN ( /watch?v=NvXE-iEHvyo)

    i kind of like supras, but not that much, they are so overrated performance wise, they arent king of anything. The Buick GN was always faster dollar for dollar.

    few know a gn, everyone jawdrops at supras, but GNs are FASTER & BETTER!!!

  • oh, and john rains turbo buick standing mile- 284 mph

    ------>/watch?v=w-skip58FSk

    shat on your texas mile supra

    those overpriced rice-burning chopstick shitpras will never beat good old muscle

  • looks like the pile of shit toyota ran out of rice gas

    muscle always wins

  • The Grand National and Supra are just about even. Sorta kinda cousins. Both rare.

    Except that the Grand National hooks and does NOT throw away power, and is NOT overpriced and overrated. That's where the GNX PWNS!!!

  • even though im a fan of japanese straight sixers, the Buick Grand National is the only domestic car i have respect for.

  • Why is it so hard for someone to like both cars that are racing each other..? I'd strangle a newborn baby to death infront of its mother for either one of these cars.

  • @jylp4u yea this is my old account from when i was 14 haha i have a new account and occasionally check on this one. but yea i realized that the Grand National is the true name for them haha I didn't know all the T-type stuff though. thanks for the info man :)

  • @jylp4u -3 had THE ONLY GNx from asc mclaren with T tops that was numbered as a GNx with all the paper work to go with it. I've seen the GN on the car lots when they were new, they had white foam squares on the bumpers for transport. The first thing to go with the grand national is the trans, 2nd gear goes and once you get that fixed you'd better get a flywheel or your bolts are going to keep coming out. They stopped making them in 87 because they casted a shadow on the flagship - the corvette.

  • @jylp4u 2- just like the grand national only they were far less weight because they didn't come with power options, spoiler or the steel backings like the grand national, they had aluminium bumper backings and rear drums, they only came with gray interior. GM didn't make the GNx, the GNx only came one way from asc mclaren accept for one, a guy I know took his GN to asc mclaren back in 87 and they turned his GN into a GNx and gave it a number, what set his car apart from the rest is that he 3-
