To reap the satisfaction of the thrill of shopping without the sting in your pocketbook, go "virtually" shopping with a big black pen and imagine buying those shoes, but don't really purchase. It's a powerful technique, but it serves a purpose. That way, you're not limited to money, just pretend to buy EVERYTHING you like. Once I did that and added everything up, whoa, I spent a pretty penny! Thank heavens it was just imaginary, but I had the feeling of ownership anyway. Pretty powerful stuff. That's the beauty of visualization. For most it's in the anticipation and the GETTING, than the HAVING that bring the great feeling. Remember that when you feel you are a shopaholic.
