Normandy: Waffen-SS and Paratroopers fighting in Saint-Lo

Combat in the hedgerows near Saint-Lo, German tanks, infantry, paratroopers, and mortars, the SS Division Goetz von Berlichingen attacks, knocked-out Allied tanks and anti-tanks guns, intact Allied armament is left behind.

TRANSLATION:

In the terrain with low visibility an exhausting kind of bush war has developed
The special importance of the infantrymen in reconnaissance missions in this terrain is evident. Paratroopers are advancing with close-combat anti-tank weapons. The enemy opens fire. Dig in! A mortar is returning fire. In the twilight of the dense deciduous forest paratroopers and infantrymen of the SS Division Goetz von Berlichingen are awaiting the order to attack. A StuG tank is advancing.

In the area around Saint-Lo destroyed and burning Sherman tanks. Congested in a small area enemy tanks were apprehended and smashed. Destroyed anti-tank gun. On the highway to Saint-Lo. @Mentalplix I can't help but agree with you on that one. The sad thing is that a wealth of knowledge is available on the internet. I listen to professor lectures on youtube all the time, but it doesn't seem like very many other people do. I find it hilarious that the masses actually are choosing their own fate. This doesn't surprise me though considering that throughout human history the masses have always been this way.
