My 20 gallon tank. I got an opaline gourami, 4 tiger barbs, 3 black skirt tetras, 1 panda cory, 1 spotted cory and 1 peppered cory cat, and 3 red zebra danios.

  • How are your skirt tetras with the danios? I have 4 serpaes (going in 5-7, in a 10gal but soon to be 55gal which I just hav eto transfer them, and I may get some danios and tiger barbs.

  • Black skirts do great with danios, since they're both tropical community and don't grow too big. As for the tiger barbs, I would recommend that you either get at least six or get another type of fish, because they're beautiful but very aggressive and can end up killing even angels. In larger groups they tend to keep the aggression to themselves, but again its not guaranteed.

  • darn tiger barbs, they ate the fins off like 4 of my fish. i like your tank..

  • yea, they're really aggressive, but they leave my danios and corys alone for some reason. apparently if you keep them in larger groups they only chase each other, but that means getting less of the other kinds of fish you may want. So either put them in a separate tank, or get semi aggressives
