OtterBox Commuter Series: New Line of Hybrid Cases for BlackBerry Smartphones

Slender, yet sturdy layers of protection safeguard your BlackBerry® smartphone: first, a self-adhering clear protective film safeguards screen from scratches; second, a durable silicone mid-layer wraps over your smartphone to dissipate impact and finally, a one-piece, custom molded polycarbonate shell hugs tightly around the silicone.*

These three OtterBox cases allow complete accessibility to screen, navigation keys and buttons, while silicone plugs provide access to all ports and headphone jack. Included with the case is a cleaning cloth and screen protector installation card. With a smooth outer layer, Commuter Series cases easily slide into your pocket or purse, keeping your smartphone concealed and protected.

The Commuter Series is a slick line that offers protection in between the Defender and Impact Series, said Curt Richardson, CEO of OtterBox. We came up with the design by simply listening to customer feedback. Some thought the Defender was bulky and offered too much protection, while others thought the Impact didnt offer enough. Our engineers took on the challenge to come up with a case to offer the best of both worlds and the Commuter Series was born.
