I remember being five or six years old and getting this for my birthday. And of course, even though I didn't know the backstory of Khan or Star Trek in general, I thought this was the greatest story ever told by man...on tape.

I remember buying this on cassette version along with Star Trek-TMP, Star Trek III, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, The Temple Of Doom, Gremlins and V from Woolworths in 1984 - they were about £1.99 each.

Does anyone know who composed the original music for these? Some, such as the Star Wars books (at least the movie adaptations), used the music from the actual movies, but the same few cues were used for several others.
