Teleatlas 3D maps

A TeleAtlas idén nyáron közel 50 európai nagyváros 3D térképével jelenik meg a navigációs piacon. A Teleatlas térképeit számos navigációs rendszer fejelesztője használja, többek között az iGO, a Navigon, a Tomtom, de az autós navigációs rendszerek fejélesztői sem maradnak ki, így az egyik legjelentősebb a pioneer.

Tele Atlas (FSE: TA6, EUNV: TA), a leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for navigation and location-based solutions, today announced it will make available nearly 50 detailed 3D (three dimensional) city maps for use in navigation devices and location-based applications.

Tele Atlas is definitely on the mark with innovation. It will be great to be able to put a "face" with a name as far as my POIs go. It doesn't come across too distracting to me at all. I travel much better with landmarks as it is.

Maybe the future, but maybe now it looks just TOO distracting and confusing, keep to the basics of mapping.
