Near Fayettville, WV is New River Gorge and the third largest bridge of its type in the world. I had trail ran out to Long Point the previous day and upon seeing it decided I needed to hike out with my guitar and record something there; it was such a beautiful spot. Since I am mid-tour and have been through all of the states mentioned in the tune, I figured "Wagon Wheel" was appropriate, especially when finished off with a touch of "Country Roads" towards the end (I was in West Virginia after all). Hope you enjoy this little solo acoustic version of this beautiful song. One fly was harmed in the making of this video.

I am playing a Taylor 412-ce, and filming using a Kodak ZI-8 (multiple video takes synced to a master audio take). All filming and editing by Ben Hammond. Visit http://www.benhammondmusic.com for more info, gigs and free mp3s. Please also view my profile for more videos. Thanks mama.
