  • I just want to make sure of something. Am I the only person who really understood what Lee Mack was saying about the paintings?

  • Gods it's so good to have intelligent comedy once again!

  • Man, Jimmy Carr's laugh is so cool. It doesn't fit his face; it's like he uses his whole BODY to laugh, and each individual unit of mirth is its OWN decisive "hah!"

I've spent a lot of time watching QI lately.

  • @peppercat89 Because like everyone one on QI she is not used to intelligent things coming out of Lee's mouth. He does tend to play the troll.

  • @Simpsonsfreak1134 no, sandi just didn't bother trying to understand him.

  • Sandy is so awesome :D

  • Alan looks younger with longer locks.

  • QI just makes me smile.

  • I hate lee mack...

  • @Simpsonsfreak1134 I understood. A painter is usually in the same position when painting, so they have a certain perspective on what they are doing. However, someone seeing a painting in a gallery may not be in the same position. The concept doesn't work for artists who take that into account, but whatever.

  • 5:30 When Jimmy Carr smiles, the world smiles with that beautiful, beautiful man. <3

  • As far as i understand it's nothing to do with a 2D or 3D subject. A painter paints an image from his perspective. When you look at the painting, you'll see it through the painters eyes, no matter what angle you're looking at the painting. So if the subject is looking at the artist or not, determines whether the subject will seem to be looking at you or not. If you view that painting from a really far angle, it'll just look like a skewed vision of a person looking straight at you
