watch one week of HGTV and you'll be ready to contact the network screaming at them for the severe amount of waste you'll see from their demolitions. they profess a lot of "green" but it seems not to be in practice. my grandfather was a firm believer in repurposing... comes from having been thru the great depression he said. i think he liked the challenge of it.

this was an excellent TED contribution and it made a great deal of sense.

yes, we need more like this... but directed at the masses.
