The match is over, he can say whatever he wants to. IDPA is still a game, winning is winning.

If you feel a bad shot,are you gonna wait to SEE if its bad to re-engauge? If you do,your slow and won't win. If your not trying to win,why are you playing?

PLus I think it's laughable that a organization that is based on self defense principles would scoff at someone shooting more then twice.

Yeah, three rounds to go to slidelock is a no-no, especially when you admit to it! At least make a half-hearted attempt to conceal it by putting three on the more distant target.
