I like this video very much. My only comment for some is: Remember Nelson Mandala's incarceration. Did it make him less ardent in his beliefs?

Well, how wonderfully compassionate of you. And in 1943 the 'other' was Germany and Japan. Those people who were doing the killing had wives and kids that they loved too. So I guess you'd have been a pacifist back then, eh?
The Germans who were slaughtering the Jews and gypsies and Poles and Dutch and French were Christians too. So what point does THAT make?

Well, along with using footage from Al Jazeera, perhaps you should have included some passages from the Qu'ran, like:
"Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them." 4:89
"Fight disbelievers who are near you, and let them see the harshness in you." 9:123
They seek to kill infidels not for what they've DONE, but for what they BELIEVE. And yet, you feel SORRY for these folks - who were captured on battlefields!

Actually I don't feel sorry for people who feel they have a right to violently force their beliefs on others. I do feel it is useful to look at the world through the eyes of the "other". It is often surprising how similar their worldview is to our own. Our comfort level with "collateral damage" (e.g. killing tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of thousands of innocent people) doesn't speak too highly of Christian charity.
