Arghh, I should have gotten this one instead of foolishly falling for the z100fd's sexy diagonal lens cover. The image quality on my z100fd is poor in low light conditions!
I've tried it on two. Dell 2400 series, Windows XP home, 2.4 ghz processor, 2 gigs of RAM. Also a Toshiba Satellite A205 notebook running Windows Vista Home Premium, 1.6 ghz processor, 1.5 gigs of RAM. The programs I tried that failed were Windows Media Player (v10 on XP, v11 on Vista), Windows Movie Maker (XP and Vista versions respectively), and Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6.0 (on both). I have gotten it to play the videos on Linux (Ubuntu 8.10) running on a Dell almost identical to the first one.
Nice review..do you know where i can find an ac adaptor for this camera..i recently lost mine, and i've been searching different sites to look for one, but no luck. Hopefully you know of one where i can find this specific one, i would appreciate the help, thanks!
Pretty good review. I have this camera, and I'm having trouble with the video playing on my PC. I can copy it from the camera to my hard drive, but it only plays in QuickTime. In any other video program, it only plays the sound and the video is just noise. My video editing programs don't read it either, so PLEEEEASE, if you know what the problem is, please tell me. You can send me a message or just reply to this comment. THANKS!
