@Sanchezenia1 That's not actually true. The triangles help distribute the weight around the bridge. That's why the whole thing didn't snap straight away, and that's why it's possible for it to hold any kind of heavy weight in the first place, especially bearing in mind balsa wood is NOT a very strong wood at all.

It would have been better to place the hook (or whatever you're using to hold the bucket) on top of the bridge instead of the bottom, which is where you're putting it.You're pretty much just testing how strong two sticks parallel-to-each-other are; the triangles are pretty much useless.

@fluffyiscool009 ive had my balsa wood bridge stand up to 117 pounds before collapsing and I still hold that record at the middle school to this date
