The Girl Who Lost the Stars

Song is "The Girl Who Stole the Stars" from the Chrono Cross OST.

This was originally going to just be an attempt to make Twilight's corruption in Return of Harmony Part 2 more emotional, since I felt the episode didn't really do it justice, but then as I was working on it, this video kind of took on a life of its own, and I ended up letting it go where it wanted to go rather than where I had initially intended it to go.

And yes, I was channeling It's A Wonderful Life at the end there. :P

I loved Season 2's first episode a lot, but if there had been more focus on Twilight turning grey like you said then that would've just hit the nail on the head, I'd say. <3 Thank you so much for putting this together. My brother and my childhood friend were killed in action. My brother was always there for those who needed him and would do anything to help, and my friend would never leave anyone he knew, for any reason. Sometimes, I look back upon the days they were still alive, and I just now realized those two were the elements of generosity, kindness, and loyalty. Yes this causes manly tears. Yes it always will. But what really stands out is the quality of the editing and the choices of direction, the creator took. If want your proof, when the tear hits the ground, it sinks up with the real emotional part of the music. Moreso if you have also seen the scene that this is from. Just a beautiful display of understanding how a scene should work, and good execution.
