Everyone knows this tune -- it makes its appearances throughout the media. However, it is originally the main theme from the movie 'Love Story.'

Very nice, but are you playing Chopin, Liszt or Francis Lai?

The first two are in a different league to the last. Lai is a good songsmith, but this song - one of his best - in my humble opinion, cannot take the lavish arrangement you have built around it. The melody just doesn't have the depth of the great 19th century masters.

An interesting, though over-long exercise though and sincerely felt, I'm sure.

Kyle your technical prowess and the inherent musicality you possess and tenderly combined to breathe new life into this Iconic piece . I learned this in the seventies when it hit like crazy. It it a romantic and thoughtful piece of contemporary composition of the time . It opened the door to a new appreciation of classical repertoire in the mainstream. An historically significant piece. Well done.
